The Worst Time

So often when we get an idea, thought, design, or anything like this, usually it is at the worst time for us. We are either sleeping and can't sleep until we write it down, doing chores or helping the kids and you can't do anything until you find something to write it down on, or driving and you have no place to put your thought. Am I right on this? This is exactly how I function. I have had a thought while driving and it was so good that I had to pull over and write it down and then continue on to my destination.

So why is it that we get most of our awesome thoughts and ideas at the worst times for us? Well I cannot answer that to be quit honest with you, but I do know that it goes right along with something else that ususally comes at the worst time for us. Know what that (or who) is? Jesus. Yep that's right Jesus. The majority of the time when Jesus asks something of us, it is at a time that we just don't think is right for us. So what do we do? Well we can ignore Him like we so often do our ideas and miss an awesome blessing and a chance to bless  others or we can listen to Him.

What I have come to believe is this: that when Jesus asks us to do something most of the time He is wanting us to do it right then sometimes because I think Jesus just wants to show us His love and sometimes I think because someone else needs to see His love through us. So the next time you have an awesome idea or Jesus comes knocking at the worst time, keep a pen and paper handy and be ready.

Tonight I went to Wal Mart for some alone time. It seems like the only place to really go after 11pm. My son's birthday is right around the corner, so I had my eye on some things there. A few weeks ago I foundd a drum set that my husband and I wanted to get him, so I decided to get it tonight. I got over to the clearance section and it was gone. Future Generations

Are we afraid of what will hapen when we get old and have to pass the teaching and leading of Jesus to the children growing up today? If  so why? Are we afraid they won't care as much or do something to hurt the name of Jesus? We need to stop for a moment as adults of this generation and don't put such a heavy burden on the generations coming up. Do you want to know the hard truth? Good cuz I'm gonna tell ya. Man & Woman Understanding Each Other

How many of you men out there know exactly when and what to buy your significant other? Do you just go buy them something or does your significant other have to tell you? Neither one is wrong. How many of you women out there know what your husband wants? Do you take the initiative or do they have to ask? Again neither one is wrong.
